Weird meet up and books

Hey guys!
Before I start, I 'd just like to say thank you. Now I have over 100 page views, which is cool. I like how many of you keep coming back or do read this. Please comment how you found me if you are reading and possibly when you found me or how I helped you or made you laugh. But thank you. <3

Anyway, today I went out with my friend and she has brought along her old friend from the UK (mind you, I am from the UK), so I was kinda expecting "sick" humour. Oh no. It was terrible, because they all went to..."wild" schools, so they knew a lot of inappropriate things, things I would rather not know at my age, after all I'm not 15 until May so...Anyway, they are lovely but very open about themselves and their lives, well my friend's friend. So I wasn't really into the conversations unless they were clean, which was pretty rare.

Which got me thinking, the next generation is going to be bad. I know we have time to change it, but we have a lot of young people doing things they shouldn't. And with friends and social media, I do think it is easy to stumble across or end up in a place you shouldn't so here are some tips:

  • remember, if you are young please don't try to grow up, I'm 14 but I still miss being 9 and 10
  • if you have friends doing things you are too young to do, don't do it, even if you are their age, please don't give in
  • make sure you know what you are getting into
Moving on, I bought a book called "The apple tart of hope", Get Weird (by Little Mix) and HDWEUH - the movie (5SOS). What, however I pray I won't move away from either of them because with Little Mix, I have been supporting them for so long and waiting to see them live and I am soon and 5SOS have a big part in my life, in which I support them more. Many people move away from things and I pray I won't do the same.

Anyway, I love to think about deep things and creative writing, which links to good books you should definitely read:
  • The Maze Runner series - it is way better than the movies (and the movies are good)
  • Apple and Rain - beautiful story, which I really love
  • Sophie's World - a friend got this for me and I haven't read it fully yet but it is really deep and lovely
  • Girl Online series - I honestly didn't expect this to be good, but it really is
  • To all the boys I loved before - Jenny Han is a creative genius, just read any book by her
  • Frozen - no "let it go" serenade but quite romantic and cute.
Okay that is all, I would please like reader to comment what book they recommend or something I should write about because I really do love this a. Please comment, it would brighten up my day.

Thank you lovelies :3

Future awaits and potentially ruining my life??

Hey guys,

So recently I was asked what I wanted to be. Being 14 years old I replied "I had no clue.", but gave a few options. My father then told me that I was nearing my days at university so I had to know what I wanted to take.

And then I ruined my life.
5SOS have now become a huge part of my life, like YouTubers had in December 2014. I have been in the 5SOSFam for a few months but there are a lot of things I knew before I joined, which is probably why I like them so much. So with that aside, I have sadly put 5SOS in front of everything I love; my future, my career choices, my friends and family only because they literally saved my life when I was alone.

Now, if you are in the fam - or any fandom to be honest *sigh* -  you would be aware of drama. The boys I remember from 2014, who were constantly popping up on my feed, were dorky and cute but after that all this drama started, which broke the fandom slowly. Now the most recent one is the Rolling Stones article, which was indeed powerful enough to ruin their careers. The article portrayed them as mean, desperate, lust wanting boys (as well as depressed which a very few fans noticed), basically like those teenage boys no one wants to be around. Many old and new fans and people in general lost respect for them, moved away from them and decided this wasn't something they didn't want to be apart of. Me? I was horrified. I had this vision of those 2014, happy chaps that were just innocent lambs, and I admit it slapped me in the face, as I had just started to be IN the fam(I already liked their music). Many fans however, believed the article was fake. I however, have 70% belief that the article isn't as it seems.
Like me, many fans have forget these boys have grown up. They will be doing a lot more "things" we'd never even CONSIDER. It daunts on me now that, many people have become so obsessed with the band, they don't see a fault in something they do. I for one, don't always praise them if they lack their normal, clean performance. Yet many fans give excuses, which is worrying as you may be destroying your life and throwing away your future. I have registered that I am throwing away everything for a fantastic group of boys who unfortunately:

  1. don't know me
  2. have no idea I exist
  3. have already made their living
So I have occupied myself in other things to prevent this getting worse
  • drawing - you can make fan art which no only allows you to still connect with your favourite musician, but you also take a step back from them and social media
  • hobbies - I have started to play the guitar, because I love many 5SOS songs that are played on the guitar. this increases my attention span and makes me more intelligent, while still occasionally enjoying my faves
  • give your phone up - for me, I have exams coming, so my mum has taken away my phone so i can focus.
  • rewards - if you leave that artist and the results are amazing, treat yourself! Buy yourself tickets to their concert, a poster whatever you think you deserve. But why? When you reward yourself like this, you get more determined to do better to earn something better, meaning you will work harder.
Back to the future (smooth), it is important you have a rough idea of what you are looking at. Like if you like reading, solving and analysing, being a banker or lawyer is suitable for you (don't take my word though). Building and designing - engineering is a good idea. However, to make sure you become 100% about what path you take, you must:

  • check in universities what subjects you like lead to what courses
  • choose a university and see if any subjects you like are popular or recommended
  • constantly look at jobs you are interested in and see what you need, just incase a subject you dislike is essential.
  • make sure it is something you will love - money is lovely, but doing a job you won't like for money won't make you happy
  • put yourself out there! - if you like singing, dancing or art, display it on social media and if you don't like that you have time to change (if you do it while you are young) or if you want to be a athlete, train anyway you can (in or outside of school) and push yourself.
As great as I am at giving advice *sarcasm* I do procrastinate and avoid it (my last blog speaks about procrastinating if you want my super cool advice) which is another reason why I probably shouldn't have a blog. But it is nice to see loads of people reading this, I really do appreciate it.
Also I decided to conquer my fears of people and started posting videos of my singing (using this name) and it does work. I am more comfortable with speaking to people, probably because someone gave me a dislike :'(. But with that aside, please do comment about what I should speak about next, as it will probably help me when I forget to write my blog.

Thanks guys, hope you excel in life! <3

NOTE: Just read my first blog post, it shows how dorky and shy I was and I have come so far through 5 other blog posts, hope you too conquer your confidence.
