Weird Reunions and Happy Purchases

Hi guys,

This is going to be two stories as I have two days to talk about. Hope you enjoy.

Day 1
I met up with my primary friends and I was so excited to see them again. When I met them I was like "Yesss!" and they greeted me sweetly and I was very grateful. Then we had a meal and it was quite fun but they spoke mainly about themselves and their school so I couldn't participate in it as I had no clue who they would talk about. Then among the table they would whisper and tell secrets so some of us were left out.

Then after the food we went to shop. Immediately, half the group disappeared without another word. The other 4 of us went to a different shopping centre but we had an amazing time. After, we said goodbye and my friend and I went on the train. We had a great time but I think it would have been better if we stuck together.

Tips on what to do when your group splits up.

  • Go with the side you want to.
  • The split up group MUST stay together
  • Don't take it personally.

Day 2
My mum told me that my friends from 2008 were coming over. I was worried that I would be awkward with them so I kinda wanted to stay behind.

Funnily enough, they didn't show up but their mum did. They had gone "camping". As if, I've pulled that card so many times so I knew what that actually meant. Anyway, their mum was really bubbly so it wasn't too awkward. After our lunch at Nandos, we went for a small shop. I finally got Zoella's Soak Opera. I don't really know if it's good but I really wanted it. Plus I got 2 phone cases from Claire's and they are amazing. I managed to persuade my mum to help me purchase these items and I realised how important it is to know how to argue and persuade.

Tips on how to persuade.

  • Don't whine: it will make you look like you don't mean what you are trying to say.
  • Have a point to back up your "evidence".
  • Negotiate or make a deal with that person.

Okay that's all I have to say today. But I want to hear any good clothing shops. Please comment, follow and  Google+ the blog posts you would like others to read some of my posts. I also wanted to say thank you guys so much, now I have over 30 pageviews overall, that's crazy. I'm so happy and I love you all so much.

Awkward meet up and 2 day shopping

Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't been daily in my posts but I will try to post weekly. As you can tell by the title, you can probably tell this a story. So, a couple of days ago, I went out with two of my friends. I hadn't spoken to them properly in a year so we should have had something to talk about...should have. Well when we saw each other at the park and I immediately knew it was going to be awkward. It really was. We couldn't find anything to talk about and they would talk among themselves, leaving my sister and I to chat. They even grabbed their phone straight after we sat down at the park cafe. I mean like c'mon,if I knew you weren't going to talk to me, I would have texted you. So I was quite offended as had been a year I had met them in person so, thanks guys. One of them did try to include me but we both knew that wasn't going to work...After this, I was super tired and my mum agreed to let us all (my family and I) go shopping. It was really fun but the budget I had made it a lot harder.

Here's a tip on how to stay on your budget.
  • Look online for the clothes you want and write the price so you don't go over your budget.
  • Budget yourself on how much you spend in each shop.
  • Take a certain amount of money with you to each shop.
  • Get help from your mum or dad to help protect your cash!
I hope guys enjoyed this, love you all.

Holiday confusion and packing tips

I'm currently in the UK for my holidays and let me tell you, it was hard.

On the ticket we said we wanted to leave on a certain date (I'll use the 19th as an example) and it said we get on the plane at 11:45pm and depart at 00:05. When we went to check in, we were told that we had missed our flight. We were all confused and she explained that they had this 24 hour policy meaning the date we booked for was yesterday. I did understand where she was coming from but boarding the plane and leaving the country are two completely different things. If you book for a flight on a certain date it means the boarding time not the departure. Luckily, we did get some seats however we had to pay, despite there being room on the plane , like what?!

So for anyone booking flights that cross link between to days : always check when you need to go.

Tip on packing
We had heard it was going to warm for the first time in the UK so, I packed things like crop tops, short sleeves, skirts, shirts and two pair of trainers as well as flip flops and shorts. I usually under pack so, I put a lot of clothes into the suitcase. However my mum told me a good tip on how to pack properly and have enough room to do a massive shop on holiday.

For clothes, make them into outfits, then you'll know what you need to take away. Take a lot of tops but a very few bottoms.

For shoes, pack home or really casual shoes that you can travel in if necessary such as slippers or flip flops. Pack a pair of shoes to go out to the shops  such as trainers, sneakers, hi tops or flats. Finally, fancy or nice shoes you'd wear to go to a fancy dinner or go out with your friends like heels, nice sneakers, formal flats or even stilettos.

Make up  and soaps are quite easy, put them in your make up travel case or a make up bag. You may fill it up as much as you want (put jewellery and accessories in it as well) then put this in a bag you aren't going to be taking as handlugguage but a bag you will be taking in your suitcase. Tip: to prevent products spilling, tie a plastic bag over the top or put them in a bag. Not only will this trick prevent spillage, it will keep everything else from spilling to.

Hope you enjoyed these tips and my story and I'll see you soon.

Welcome! :3

Hi! I'm J but you can call JustAnxther. I am a 14 year old English, Scottish and Nigerian girl who loves writing and sports. This is my first blog post really excited about it. My favourite subject is maths, English and Chinese and I could be a little bit of Chinese which is quite good as I only speak English. I made this blog because people like Zoella, SprinkleofGIitter, Niomi Smart, Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil really inspired me to be more of a risk taker and my parents are always supportive of me doing things I normally wouldn't.

I have only read a couple of blog posts so my stories and information might not be as good but I will try my best to write well. I made this blog due to the lack of confidence I have and I hope I will feel better as a person after embracing something I don't normally do, like this :). On this blog I will hopefully made you smile and inspire you to be the best you can through stories, poems, advice and much more. I promise what I write is true or mine and I will be myself on this blog. Thank you for reading and I'll hopefully see you soon.
